The idea of Bouquet Residence came about during a trip to the lush rainforest of Mullumbimby on the central east coast of Australia. In the hills behind Byron Bay, my partner’s father grows the most amazing tropical gingers surrounded by 6m tall bamboo and kookaburras laughing in the trees. Unfortunately I couldn’t bring all of these exotic flowers and plants back to my life in Copenhagen, instead deciding to use my skills from art school to make collages and prints of flowers and plants. I don’t have green fingers so much but they are often covered in ink!

Each print and collage is made with love by hand and is one of a kind.

Bouquet Residence is the labour of love of Thilde Louise Dalager, a Danish artist based in Copenhagen. She holds a Masters of Visual Communication from the Danish Design Academy. She has exhibited nationally and internationally since graduating in 2015.
